The Role of Cloud-Based DevOps Practices in Enhancing Agile Software Delivery Pipelines

In the evolving landscape of software engineering, the convergence of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices—especially within cloud-based environments—has become pivotal to delivering scalable, resilient, and fast software products. This paper explores the synergistic relationship between cloud-based DevOps practices and Agile software delivery pipelines in the context. we analyze how cloud-native tools, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation contribute to shorter release cycles, enhanced product quality, and increased collaboration between development and operations teams. This study also discusses emerging challenges such as security, compliance, and vendor lock-in in the context of accelerating delivery within cloud-based Agile pipelines.
